Acryl fever

After The visit to my friend Guil Zerki I get the painting virus back . I remember how important is to change the artistic medium sometimes .
Here are 2 paintings I did in Flensburg after the inspiring guestpot at Reinkarnation Koln .
I use acrylic colors on canvas suport.first one is inspired from internet and is really small ,15/18 cm and the second is a reroduction from the great Basil Gogol . I choose this becose I feel Like into the color moode and also i really love the Dracula caracter from Christopher Lee .
Here are the paintings , I will try to work more in the next time , i need to remember how to handle the brushes and the colors , but I really enjoy this challenge !
I took 2 pictures from Dracula , first one is on the day light and the second one done in the same light I see it during the painting proces , one night .

Fall winter tour

This is the longer tour me and Ada have done till now. Alot of kilometers ,alot of work , storys and alot of fun in this time.
I will post some Pictures who speak them selfs about this crazy tour.

Back in bussiness !

It is amomst one year since I writte the last blog...I think nobody really mist me from the blog scene , but I want to continue this becose maybe I inspire some people or just explain my ideeas and art directions to my costumers or at last just do some brain storming for myself .
In the last year I travel alot , doing many guestpots and tattoo conventions , spread my ink all over the Europe.
One of the thinghs who change my tattoo direction is redescovering the Chayenne Hawk machine . This machine I buy a few years before , but I don t really like it , but now I think is the perfect tool for a traveling artist.
An other thing who mark my tattoo work is that I do almost only freehand tattoos in thw last time , using not so manny references.
I chose to do this first becose I can :) but also I think that this way I can use the body shape and the space that costumer give to me at maximum potential. Everyone can see tht a flat drawing is change alot when you stencil it on a not flT body area , also a wrong or not perfect stencil is hard to clean and remake , all this things I want to avoyd in my work.
If I am onest .... I must admit that I never know how to do a perfect helpful stencil , I realize that when I see other people doing stencils , in this moment I realize that I put in the stencil just maybe not more than 20% from reference , this means the rest is freehand , so I decide to do all freehand .
I will add some pictures from this last working year. I hope you like them !

Ink storm in Flensburg part 2

During the 3 weeks we spend at Tattoo Fashion Flensburg , me and Ada had some really busy days with a lot of bookings sometime from 10 am to 23 pm or late. It was a real hard ink marathon, we meet some great people and  we did some cool tattoos .

Here are some ink stories from Tattoo Fashion Flensburg :
Captain Spaulding was one from the last tattoos I did in Flensburg and one of the first bookings . It was a real honor for me to tattoo Jacob , he is a tattoo artist from Danmark who decided to get my ink . It’s never easy to tattoo another tattoo artist , but I like every chalenge !
An other cool project is this lascive lesby :D . This tattoo I have done to a costumer which came from far away Nord , I think Island . After I finishad the tattoo my good friend Mads advertise it on facebook and in few hours he brake his own record : 300 people like the naked girls , but someone decide to report the photo and my friend’s profile was bloked…..

The Viking saga is a chest piece , sholder and arm I have done to John an ex soldier who fought  in Afganistan and Kosovo. I was surprized by the way he could handle the pain of  2 sittings lasting 10 hours .. All the tatto is my freehand interpretation from an other tattoo he found on the  internet and for the viking portrait I use just a picture with Hulk Hogan for reference.

My first costumer who showed up with a limo is Jesper Jokeren Dahl  ,afamous skandinavian actor and rapp singer. He came from Copenhagen  to get a Hunter S Thompson portrait with the writing “ I’m not ON drugs , I’m never OFF”
I have seen the movie  “ Fear and loading in Las Vegas” and I liked the part with the bats so I decided to include this in the picture , I put them in the sun glases like a reflection and for the writing I choose some old writing machine font . I was happy Joken was open to all my sugestions and gave me his  full trust .

One other of my VIP costumers is Linse Kessler decided to come also from Copenhagen to get a tattoo from me. This was part of a Danmark Tv show.
We begin with a special tattoo , a tribute to the place where she and her brother the famous box champion Mikkel Kesslerhave grown up  and for future we plan to continue her sleeve tattoo.
Here I am with my friend Lars who was the first and also the last costumer at Tattoo Fashion Flensburg , he get 2 half sleeves and chest piece "Good times , Bad times" totaly freehand .
At last but not lest is Mads back piece remake .

Mads is the owner from Fashionista Corp (including the Fashion Tattoo Studio chain with 3 studios in Germany and Danmark , Fashionista clothes , limo company , night club and skandinavian biger facebook tattoo group – more than 55.000 members) a full time job !
Meeting Mads and know him was one of the most  interesting things in my life as a tattoo artist .We started in some days almost fighting and finishing up with a hug in the end of the day !
In his opinion I am the best artist in the world , haha was fumy when he tell me , first I think he’s kidding me and I feel little embarrass , but when I realize he mean this I feel really honored and comfortable because he treated me like this in all the great time we spent in Flensburg.
